HONEY BEES, NOT DRONE BEES, PLEASE! - BY FERRAN ALVAREZ
HONEY BEES, NOT DRONE BEES, PLEASE!
The world's bees are in danger from pesticides and populations of bees are disappearing. But we need bees to pollinate the crops that provide us with food. That's why scientists in the Netherlands have created drones that can replace bees for crops pollination. They are remote-controlled and could pollinate crops in greenhouses. OK, but what about delicious honey? Drones can't make that.
